Tech startup operator, investor and lecturer. He was part of the early team that drove the creation of Validated ID, a digital identity and electronic signature company backed by CaixaBank and later acquired by Signaturit Group and PSG Equity. He was also an Investment Manager at Kibo Ventures, a Spanish venture capital firm with more than €350m in assets under management, over 60 investments, 4 unicorns, more than 10 exits to companies such as Apple and PayPal, co-investors of the caliber of BlackRock, Founders Fund and Goldman Sachs, and a NASDAQ IPO. He began his career at the fintech Kantox (acquired by BNP Paribas for €120m) and on EY's Transaction Advisory Services team, taking part in numerous M&A transactions. He has been a teaching assistant at ESADE.
In his spare time he runs viewsbypol.com, an interview newsletter featuring more than 40 guests from companies such as Apple, Google, Founders Fund and NASA, recommended by the University of Oxford, Keith Rabois (Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures) and Josh Wolfe (Lux Capital).
He has also contributed to social impact projects linked to the Catholic Church within the Spanish prison system, at an orphanage in Bethlehem (Palestine) and with Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in Nepal.
Pol studied Business Administration at the University of Barcelona and was a member of the 28th class of the EUS Excellence Group (top 4%).
