More than 35 years of experience in financial institutions internationally, and currently Director at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
She previously held management positions at several European financial institutions, including Head of Markets and Treasury and Head of Corporate and Business Banking at Caja de Ahorros de Venecia (Italy) and Banco Sanpaolo (Istituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino Group), as well as senior roles in financial consulting at Arthur Andersen and PwC.
In addition, Inmaculada Riera served as a Member of the Spanish Parliament (Congreso de los Diputados) in the 7th, 9th and 10th legislatures, taking on key roles such as Second Vice-Chair of the Economy and Finance Committee, Spokesperson for the Science and Innovation Committees, Spokesperson for the Industry, Energy, Tourism and Telecommunications Committee, and Spokesperson for the Economy and Competitiveness Committee. She is a permanent member of the Spanish Delegation to the Interparliamentary meetings of the European Space Agency and the OECD.
Inmaculada holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, an Advanced Management Program from IESE Business School, a postgraduate degree in International Politics and Economics from the University of Florence (Italy), and a diploma in Comparative Law from the University of Strasbourg (France).
