Heribert is currently a founding partner and CEO of the law firm Optio. Previously, he was a founding partner and managing partner of the law firm Padrol Munté, focused on tax and corporate law practice, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid.
Mr. Padrol has also served as Spokesperson on the Economy and Finance Committee and on the Toledo Pact Committee, Chairman of the Privatizations Subcommittee, and State Finance Inspector (ranked 2nd in his class, currently on leave).
He has also held other positions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (State Tax Administration Agency), including Special Delegate of the Tax Agency in Catalonia and Director General of Financial and Tax Audit at the State Tax Administration Agency.
Heribert was also Chairman and senior partner of the innovation and financing consultancy Iplusf, a member of the Council for Economic Recovery and Growth (CAREC), and a board member of several companies, including Gas Natural Fenosa, Equipos Nucleares and SA-Ensa.
In academia, he has taught tax law at UPF and ESADE, and holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona.
